Esperance Community Fund

Commencing in 2009, the Community Fund is a three-year program that supports community and not for profit projects within Esperance.

In 2010 a total of $286,108 has been committed from the Magellan Metals Community Fund to nine Esperance organisations to undertake a variety of local community projects.

Ten community programs were funded in 2009.  Project funding ranged from $10,000 used to purchase new equipment for the Esperance Goldfields Surf Lifesaving Club to $50,000 used to build a mobile commercial kitchen for the Restore Hope Foundation Esperance.

In total, over $290,000 in funding support was provided to projects in 2009.
