Operations
Magellan's operations are located approximately 30 kilometres from Wiluna in a remote part of the Mid-West region of Western Australia. They comprise an open pit mining operation, treatment and concentrating plant, and bagging, containerising and truck washing facilities.
The mine produces lead carbonate concentrate for export to customers in China and other countries.
An estimated 60,000 tonnes of contained leadis expected to be produced during 2010 with approximately 85,000 tonnes anticipated when the mine is at full production.
